1/2 pound extremely coarsely ground medium-dark roast coffee
1 one-foot-square piece cheesecloth
3 quarts cold water
Optional accompaniments: easy roast,* milk, chocolate syrup
Directions
Place java in cheese cloth, tied by the end, and also simmer at a container filled with the chilly H20. Let stand in the ice box. Take away grind-filled cheese cloth and pour coffee into eight-ounce eyeglasses filled with ice. Makes 12 servings.
*Simple Syrup Recipe
Ingredients
2 Glasses of plain water
2 cups of sugars
Instructions
Blend the water with the sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir occasionally until sugar is totally dissolved. Great, jar, and wash. Could endure for three months.
